Studio Ghibli Next Film on December 16

The producer and former studio head Ghibli Toshio Suzuki has revealed on his radio program that Asemamire Ghibli animation studio will announce his next film on December 16. He added that Oscar-winning director and studio co-founder Hayao Miyazaki anime currently a television advertisement.

Suzuki had already confirmed in October next project that the studio is starting a new director, and a July 10 entry in the official blog of Studio Ghibli had already revealed the studio plans to open its next feature film 's next year. Suzuki predicted in October that the next feature by Miyazaki could open in four years.

Studio Ghibli has revealed at a press conference in February 2008 that "directors [Isao] Takahata and [the son of Hayao Miyazaki] Goro Miyazaki are both development works" for release after Hayao Miyazaki, Gake no ue no Ponyo (Ponyo on a cliff), which opened in Japan last year. Studio Ghibli President Koji Hoshino added in July of 2008 that there is a chance that Ghibli likely promote one of its own leaders to achieve a film or hire a manager from outside the studio. Miyazaki himself said to the staff of his studio in November of that year that they will start work on two feature length with members of youth to their base at Over the next three years.
